26- 2025-03-23 Moved Sendai (original) → Sendai 2 Sendai, Miyagi · open 2011-10– · The first Jiro shop in Tohoku. It ended business in Tachimachi on March 23, 2025, and started again on April 20 in Ichibancho as “Sendai 2”.
- 2025-03-02 Closed Sakuradai Ekimae Nerima, Tokyo · open 2007– · Opened in January 2007 and closed on March 2, 2025, after about 18 years.
- 2022-12-09 Moved Ibaraki Moriya → Kashiwa Moriya, Ibaraki · open 2009-06– · The first Jiro shop in Ibaraki. It ended business in Moriya on December 9, 2022, and started again in January 2023 in Kashiwa, Chiba, as “Kashiwa”.
- 2019-10-11 Closed JR Nishiguchi Kamata Ota, Tokyo · open 2014-11– · Opened in November 2014 when Tsurumi moved here. Closed on October 11, 2019, ending about 23 years of history counting the Tsurumi years.
- 2018-12-23 Closed Shin-Koganei Kaido Koganei, Tokyo · open 2001-03– · Business under the first owner ended in May 2018. From June the shop kept going under a temporary manager until it closed on December 23, 2018.
- 2018-10-25 Moved Nishidai Ekimae (temporary site) → Nishidai Ekimae Itabashi, Tokyo · open 2016-10– · A temporary shop used while the shop’s building was rebuilt during earthquake-proofing work on the elevated Toei Mita Line. After the work, in November 2018, the shop moved back to its original location in the new building.

- 2013-03 Moved Tsurumi → JR Nishiguchi Kamata Yokohama, Kanagawa · open 1996-02– · The first Jiro shop in Kanagawa. It ended business in Tsurumi in spring 2013 and started again in November 2014 in Ota-ku, Tokyo, as “JR Nishiguchi Kamata”.
- 2013-03 Closed Takadanobaba Toshima, Tokyo · open 2010-01– · Moved to Shin-Mejiro-dori in January 2010 and kept going there until it closed in March 2013.
- 2011-01 Renamed Musashi-Kosugi Kawasaki, Kanagawa · open 1996-05– · In January 2011 it was renamed “Ramen Kojiro 526 Musashi-Kosugi” and left the Ramen Jiro name (that shop has since closed too).
- 2009-12-24 Moved Takadanobaba (former site) → Takadanobaba Shinjuku, Tokyo · open 2002-05– · Closed its shop on Waseda-dori in December 2009 and moved to Shin-Mejiro-dori in January 2010.
- 2009-05-24 Moved Sagami-Ono Ekimae → Sagami-Ono Sagamihara, Kanagawa · open 2003-12– · Closed the old shop in May 2009 and moved in June to the current site in Sagami-Ono 6-chome, renamed “Sagami-Ono”.
- 2006-05-20 Moved Hachioji Yaen Kaido (original) → Hachioji Yaen Kaido 2 Hachioji, Tokyo · open 2000-08– · Closed its shop in Shimoyugi in May 2006 and moved in June to the current site in Horinouchi, renamed “Hachioji Yaen Kaido 2”.
- 2006-03 Moved Fuchu (former site) → Fuchu Fuchu, Tokyo · open 2001-05– · Closed its shop in Miyanishicho 2-chome in March 2006 and reopened in May at the current site in Miyanishicho 1-chome.
- 2002-09-29 Closed Machida Machida, Tokyo · open 1999-03– · Closed on September 29, 2002. In 2003 the owner opened “Ramen Oyama” (ラーメン大山) in their hometown of Fuji, Shizuoka.
- 2001-04 Renamed Kichijoji Musashino, Tokyo · open 1986– · One of the very first Jiro branches. In spring 2001 it was renamed “Ramen Ikuro” and left the Ramen Jiro name (Ikuro closed in April 2015).
- 2001 Renamed Akabane (original) Kita, Tokyo · open 1991-02– · In 2001 it changed its name to “Ramen Marujiro” (○二郎), leaving the Ramen Jiro name, and later became “Ramen Fujimaru”.
- 1999-04 Closed Yoyogi Shibuya, Tokyo · open 1998-09– · Opened in September 1998 and closed in April 1999.
- 1996-02-29 Moved Mita (former site) → Mita Honten Minato, Tokyo · open 1972– · Closed at this site at the end of February 1996 because Mita-dori was being widened, and reopened in June that year at the current site on Sakurada-dori, west of Keio University’s main gate.
- 1972 Moved Toritsu-Daigaku (first shop) → Mita (former site) Meguro, Tokyo · open 1968– · Founded in 1968 near Toritsu-Daigaku Station as “Ramen Jiro” (written 次郎). It moved to Mita because of river improvement work on the Nomi River, and with that move the name came to be written 二郎.
